Integrated alphanumeric LCD controller

Connect your alphanumeric LCD to RS232, RS485, RS422, RS423, SPI, USB, I²C, CAN, IRDA, IEEE488, Centronics or any other bus. Include part of your code (for example a menu system) in the LCD controller. Interface your keyboard, mouse, touchpad via the LCD controller. Collect and format data coming from your light, temperature or any other sensors. Control LEDs or other peripherials connected to the LCD controller.

Most versions can be combined with the analog resistive touch controller.

Today almost all alphanumeric LCD contains a HD44780 compatible driver chipset, therefore this alphanumeric LCD controller will ba able to drive almost all types of LCDs. Unfortunately the same is not true for graphics modules.
